Casual Football Coach

We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable Casual Football Coach to help deliver our community football sessions in Battersea. Working as part of the youth work team, you'll plan and run fun, inclusive football activities for young people aged 8 to 19, creating a welcoming environment where everyone can take part, build confidence and feel part of something. This is about far more than football. Our sessions are a gateway: conversations on the pitch open doors into the wider life of the club, from mentoring to youth club nights, so you'll be someone young people can trust and look up to, not just a coach. You'll help maintain a safe, positive and encouraging atmosphere, support the progression of players of all abilities, and play your part in raising the aspirations of the young people of Battersea. What we're looking for: - Experience coaching or delivering football to children and young people. - A warm, patient and motivating manner, and the ability to relate to young people from all backgrounds. - A commitment to safeguarding and to keeping young people safe (an enhanced DBS check will be required). - A FA Level 1 or Level 2 coaching qualification is desirable, though attitude and the ability to connect with young people matter most Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in line with our session times - Casual, sessional hours, paid at an hourly rate. Based at 138 Falcon Road, Battersea, with sessions on and around our community pitch.
