“It's a long way from Battersea.”

Growing up on the Livingstone Estate near Clapham Junction, Mark was surrounded by gangs, police raids and young people drifting into trouble. Providence House and trips to East Shallowford introduced him to nature, responsibility and a different future. He later joined the Royal Marines and now lives on Dartmoor working outdoors as an estate warden.
