Phil Dorman

Carpenter, Trustee, Providence House alumnus

Connected for over 20 years

The place changed my life.

Phil first came to Providence House as a teenager after dropping out of school. Through carpentry workshops and regular trips to East Shallowford Farm, he developed skills, structure and confidence that led to a lifelong trade career. Today he runs his own carpentry work, leads volunteer work parties at the farm, and supports young people coming through the same journey he once did himself.

“East Shallowford has played a big part in the life changing process of a troubled teenager to a successful working man with family and responsibility.”
